KSF Baselworld Review 2014

The KSF team took their annual trip to Baselworld last week to absorb all the latest trends and developments in the watch and jewellery industry. We saw a beautiful selection of watches  but to be honest we couldn’t help marvelling at the fabulous exhibit stands designed to showcase this year’s luxury accessories.

Now we are safely back in our office, we would like to share all the amazing things that took our breath’s away at Baselworld 2014.

Enjoy!

Graff Diamond’s stand

Graff Diamonds grabbed all the headlines this year with their extraordinary watch design (more about that later) but we feel that their stand should have received the same attention. The stunning exhibition stand mixed elements from Graff Diamonds various flagship stores across the world into this eye-catching stand. We love it.

Jacob & Co

Jacob & Co are known for their chic and traditional design, this could be seen if you decided to visit their stand you would see the famous old school Hollywood glamour they are famous for. Hostesses adorned in Jacob & Co designs modelled key pieces from the collection.  Jacob&Co perhaps was not as flashy as many of its neighbouring exhibitors but that’s why it’s on our list.

Shamballa Jewels

Shamballa Jewels also took a different approach to Baselworld creating a warmer, more homely vibe for visitors. Mixing dark natural woods with pretty metals showcased their new collection perfectly. We could not help but feel like we were sat in the home of a fashionista viewing their personal jewellery.

Swarovski Mini

Another headline grabber this year was Swarovski’s Volkswagen Mini. The award winning mini took pride of place at Swarovski’s stand and went viral online very quickly. The Mini drew in the crowds, eager to see the crystal encrusted Mini in all its glory.

Graff Watch Worth $55 Million

Of course we couldn’t leave out the biggest announcement of the week, which was Graff Diamonds watch, worth a staggering $55 million. Graff Diamonds ‘Hallucination’ ladies watch was created by master craftsmen who spent thousands of hours to make this one of kind timepiece. Covered in beautiful coloured diamonds, the watch is believed to be the most expensive made ever.
