It was a mixed feeling with New York for my first visit to one of the most diversified and vibrant cities. The grid road layout makes it extremely friendly to the visitors and tourists to wondering around without losing yourself; the Statue of Liberty looks still a stunning achievement from architectural and political point of view; the 9-11 site is so quiet and low profile with new building rising on the site make the ever happened tragedy less noticeable now; had the worst experience hiring taxi waiting 50 minutes in the city centre nearly missed my flight.
